Centigor

Something new! A commisioned centigor - customer wanted it to have the classic white skin I have done on quite a few models over the years (including a centigor several years ago). It did however turn out to be harder and more timeconsuming than I would have thought. My plan was to get a relatively monochrome pale look with a splash of bloody red. In the end I think I succeded ok though.

The base i a resincast done by the customer himself - it looks cool... might want to get some for myself :)

Giant Fanatic

Just a little write about last weekends Giant Fanatic - large warhammer event here in Copenhagen. Apart from all the warhammer mayhem (about 200 players total), there also was a painting competition, which used to be quite popular and hard to win. This year, however, there were only around 15 entries, and my troll dragon got second to Tue Kaaes aboslutely terrific dragonogre. That earned me this beastman-bust... I'm considering to paint it some time...

Blood Bowl skaven

Here is the blood bowl skaven thrower I spoke of earlier. He is meant to play for the same team as the black orc below. he is for a customer, and I hope he will give them some teammates to play along - it could become a nice looking team, I think.

Not feeling very productive these days... But none the less something is getting done. This is the first bloodbowl-player for a customer who wants a mixed team. I don't know wheter there will be more to come for this team... there might be a skaven coming up... But we will have to wait and see.
I'm quite pleased with this black orc feller...

Things may look brighter for gurer.dk - the website. But until then I will post some updates here at Gurer the Blog...

Apart from those most focus is on the new Spacehulk - Picked mine up today...

It's official - at last. There is a new version of Spacehulk coming! i'm looking so much forward to this... having spent the spring ane early summer painting old spacehulk miniatures. Maybe there will even come an oppurtunity to actually play the game :)

To get started, I will post a photo of the converted trolldragon I did earlier this year. The dire troll mauler from Privateer Press is grotesque as it is, but with wings it got even better, I think :)

A blog?! Who would have thought that? My website www.gurer.dk ran into some technical problems... I tried to do it in html instead - but maybe this is the simplest way to do it?

Much to my surprise, the new officethingy do not have Frontpage... Which was the only way for me to do and update 'Gurer.dk' :( Therefore I have tried to learn how to write a new gurer in html - I ran into some problems there as well (surprise!) and here I am...

So.. it's been a long time since I last put something up on Gurer... Things have changed since then. Shortly after my latest update I got my first living daughter - Iselin - and she has taken quite a lot of my time. Still I have been painting from time to time. And when I haven't got the time to paint, I have bought tons of new unpainted miniatures.. so stay tuned - some of them might come up here painted ;)
